山と海 – Mountains and Seas
Long, long ago, there were no borders between the human body and the earth.
Mountains were bones, rivers were veins, and islands were resting grounds for the soul.
The Nine-Tailed Fox danced light-footed over mountains, her tail-feathers slicing through the morning mist.
The Sea God lay dormant in the deep blue, waves churning with ancient chants.
The Queen Mother of the West was still a magical forest princess, listening to the sky’s whispers beneath the moonlight, living among beasts and spirits.
Giants chased the sun, headless warriors swung their swords without rest, and wizards chanted spells to forge stones and mend the heavens.
In those times, gods, beasts, and humans shared a single world.
Trees reached toward the sky, and the earth pulsed with a blazing heart.
Every mountain and river had a voice; every star and drop of dew carried the memory of life.
At the place where clouds rise and ripples shimmer,
a traveler picks up a shard of clay etched with the totem of an ancient divine beast.
As he runs his fingers across it, feeling the warmth of the earth, the wind hums softly in his ear.
Something begins to stir.
An ancient spirit whispers:
“Come home. This is your mountain, your sea—your body, the place where your soul belongs.”
