山と海 – Mountains and Seas
Long ago, there were no borders between the human body and the land.
Mountains were bones, rivers were veins, islands were the resting places of souls.
The Nine-Tailed Fox darted gracefully across the ridges, tail-feathers slicing through the morning mist.
The Sea God slumbered in the deep blue, waves rising with ancient chants.
The Queen Mother of the West was still a moonlit forest enchantress, listening to sky-whispers, living among beasts and spirits.
Giants chased the sun. Headless warriors never ceased their charge.
Wizards chanted spells to forge stones and repair the heavens.
In those times, gods, beasts, and humans shared a single world.
Trees reached skyward, the land beat with a fiery heart.
Every mountain and river had a voice.
Each star and droplet of dew carried the memory of life.
At the edge of clouds, on the shore of light,
a traveler lifts a shard of pottery etched with the image of an ancient beast.
His hand feels the warmth of the clay.
The wind murmurs in his ear—something begins to stir.
An ancient soul whispers:
“Come home. This is your mountain, your sea—your body, the place your soul belongs.”
