山と海 – Mountains and Seas
Long ago, there were no boundaries between the human body and the earth.
Mountains were bones, rivers were veins, and islands were the soul’s resting grounds.
The Nine-Tailed Fox darted across peaks, her feathers slicing the morning mist.
The Sea God slumbered deep in the blue, the waves roaring with ancient chants.
The Queen Mother of the West was still a magical forest princess, listening to the sky’s whispers under the moonlight, living among beasts and spirits.
Giants chased the sun, headless warriors swung their blades relentlessly, and wizards sang spells to forge stones and mend the heavens.
In those days, gods, beasts, and humans shared a single world.
Trees reached up toward the sky, the land pulsed with a burning heart.
Every mountain and river had its voice; every star and dewdrop held the memory of life.
At the place where clouds rise and waves shimmer,
a traveler picks up a shard of clay, etched with the totem of an ancient divine beast.
As their fingers trace the warmth of the earth, the wind murmurs softly—
something begins to awaken.
An ancient spirit whispers:
“Come home. This is your mountain, your sea—your body, your soul’s return.”
